ITINERARY
Day 1 – Your Canada Vacation Package Begins - Welcome to the West Coast
A friendly guide greets you at Vancouver Airport and escorts you to your motor-coach. Then you set off on a scenic transfer along the Sea to Sky highway. Enjoy Pacific Ocean views as the roads winds its way into the snow covered Coast Mountain range.
Once you arrive in Whistler, immediately you will see why it is among the world’s best ski resorts. The twin mountain peaks offer varied terrain to suit all abilities and tastes. The buzzing village has around 100 restaurants or bars, where you can clip out of your bindings ready to enjoy a a bite to eat and a drink.
Hotels with ski-in/ski-out access allow maximum slope-time and central village locations offer proximity to Whistler’s restaurants and nightlife.
With just a few details provided we will have your skis ready at the rental shop. Exchange your equipment anytime during your Whistler vacation - so whether you need fat powder skis for the backcountry or downhill skis for on-mountain cruising, you will always have the right gear.
Day 2 – Whistler, Canada Vacation - Take to the Hills
The early morning Fresh Tracks breakfast at the Whistler Roundhouse gives you the unique opportunity to beat the crowds and glide down the mountain before anyone else!
After leaving your first tracks in the fresh snow, explore 8100 acres of terrain with more than 200 trails serviced by 37 lifts across 3 glaciers and 12 alpine bowls. This year Whistler Blackcomb has added the Peak to Peak gondola, the widest and highest in the world. The Peak to Peak links both mountains via an 11 minute ride, ensuring the best views and making it easy to enjoy Whistler’s alpine bowls in the morning before catching some afternoon sun on Blackcomb’s cruisers.
Day 3 – Backcountry & Fondue
Leave the lifts behind today and venture into the Whistler backcountry. Whistler Alpine Guides lead you into Garibaldi Park for a day of backcountry powder skiing. A professional guide provides instruction on use of backcountry safety equipment and leads you down memorable runs. The small group ensures personalized attention and a day at your own pace - a wonderful addition to any Whistler ski package.
The Bavaria Restaurant is a piece of European culture right in the heart of Whistler. Eat a fondue dinner complete with the traditional Swiss cheese with fresh bread and crisp vegetables and for dessert a decadent chocolate fondue with fruits and pastries.
Day 4 – Depart with Fond Memories
Much too soon your Whistler ski package draws to a close. Wind down the sea to sky highway, leaving the clean air and alpine sights of Whistler behind on your way to the airport for your flight home.
