ITINERARY
Day 1 – Your Canada Vacation Package Begins - Whitehorse
A Meet and Greet representative welcomes you to Whitehorse. Please note if you arrive on day 1, your flight must arrive early morning. Enjoy views of the city before traveling to Sky High Valley Ranch 20 km south of Whitehorse on the Alaska Highway. Dinner is included tonight. Overnight at base camp cabins.
Day 2 – Sky High Ranch - Guided Dog Sledding on Vacations in Canada
In the morning, meet the dogs and learn the basics of dog sledding. Afterwards, you are ready to get behind an eager team of canines and explore the Yukon wilderness. Accompanied by a Canada adventure travel guide, enjoy dog sledding in the Jackson Lake area. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at base camp cabins.
Day 3 – Sky High Ranch - Guided Dog Sledding
Spectacular views of white winter landscape await today on your Canada vacation package. Enjoy these views as you dog sled in the Boneville Lake area. Mush your team of dogs through the soft powder snow and experience the thrilling rush of bounding over hills and through tranquil meadows. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at base camp cabins.
Day 4 – Sky High Ranch - Guided Dog Sledding
Your dog sledding vacation package continues with a journey up McIntyre Mountain Road. Again breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight at base camp cabins.
Day 5 – Coal Lake Excursion - Guided Dog Sledding
From camp, embark on a guided dog sledding daytrip to Coal Lake. While traveling over the snow covered terrain, the stillness is broken only by the panting of the dogs pulling the sled along the trail. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight in wall tent camp.
Day 6 – You Cannot Get Enough Dog Sledding on Vacations in Canada
Enjoy another day of guided dog sledding in the Coal Lake area. As you travel deeper into the vast Yukon wilderness, enjoy the tranquil landscape surrounding you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. Overnight in wall tent camp.
Day 7 – Canada Vacation returns to Whitehorse
Today is your last day of guided dog sledding. Transfer from Coal Lake to Sky High Ranch and say goodbye to the dogs. Transfer to downtown Whitehorse for your overnight stay at the River View Hotel. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 8 – Departure
Your Canada vacation package in the Yukon concludes as you transfer from the River View Hotel to Whitehorse Airport.
