Scientists know that it is the combination of cold nights and warm, sunny days that makes Canada’s fall colors so amazing – but for those of us who love them, science cannot explain their attraction.

Perhaps it is their fleeting nature – as with cherry blossoms – the reminder of the brevity of life with another turn of another season that touches us… But no matter why, you cannot help feeling more alive and invigorated when you are surrounded by forests of brilliant red, orange, yellow and gold.…

No matter which way you choose to travel, we recommend booking early as the season is brief. It varies a little from year to year, of course - and from region to region – but generally in southern Ontario and Quebec, where we recommend you go to see the best colors, the last week of September and the first two weeks of October are the peak time.
